About Me
Lucy Jackson – MBACP (Accred).
I am a qualified Person-Centred Counsellor and Accredited Member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychology (BACP). I have over five years’ experience as a therapist, having worked within NHS, Housing Association, and specialist Domestic Abuse counselling services.
As a therapist, I have specialist training and experience of supporting people affected by bereavement and loss, depression, trauma and abusive relationships. Other areas of professional interest for me include working with LGBTQ+ issues, interpersonal relationships and neurodiversity.
I come to counselling from a background of supporting adults in health and social care services. I have over nine years’ professional experience in services for homelessness, mental health recovery, Domestic Abuse and survivors of Modern Slavery.
